Some Of The Best Moments And Memories In Life Are Private And Only Shared With Your Family Or Close Friends. That's one of the reasons we founded Heymory. Privacy Is Important To Us. This Privacy Policy is part of the User Agreement, which also includes our Terms of Service. We want you to know what information We collect about you, how We use it, when We share it, and what controls We offer you to manage the information you share with Us. Throughout this User Agreement, some words have a specific meaning and should be interpreted in the same way wherever they are used.

Information we receive about you

When We use the term "Information", We mean data that may include, but is not limited to, Personal Data. Heymory collects information that you provide directly to Us (Data You Provide to Us) and also through your use of Our Services (Data We Collect When You Use Our Services).


1 Data you provide us with us

Account creation data:
This is data that is required to create an account. Without this data, we cannot provide you with our services. Your email, your first and/or last name, your profile picture.

Content Data:
We receive Content (as defined in the Terms) that you create when you use our Services. This includes: Profile photos, photos, videos, captions, date. Remember that other users can copy your content (e.g. as a screenshot) and share it via other services, so we recommend that you do not share content that you do not want other people to see or copy.

Communication with Heymory:
If you report a problem with our services, respond to a survey, ask for help or exercise your rights, we will receive information from you that is necessary to support you, respond to you and improve our services. This may include: Message content, photographs, copies of government-issued identification, identifiers (such as phone numbers or email addresses) or other information.

Integration with Partners: When We work with Partners to provide You with a Feature, We may need to share Your Data with the Partner to integrate the Feature into Our Services.

Legal and Statutory Purposes: From time to time, we may receive legal requests for information about our users, we may be required to proactively disclose data to authorities, we may learn of certain content on our Services (e.g., child sexual abuse or terrorism material), we may deal with fraud or security concerns, or we may protect people from harm on our Services or elsewhere.

How long do we keep information about you?

Our aim is to keep your data only for as long as is necessary to provide you with our services. Sometimes We are required by law to retain your information for longer than We specify. In general, We will retain your data in accordance with the following schedules.

Account Creation Data: Stored indefinitely (i.e. as long as you have an active account) as it is required for the provision and operation of an account for you. If you decide to delete your account, this information will be deleted.

Content data: Indefinitely (i.e. as long as you have an active account) or until the content is deleted by you.

Communication with Heymory: No longer than 24 months#

Connection and technical data: They are not retained for longer than 24 months. However, some connection data is also part of the account creation data and is retained in accordance with the retention periods for this data.

Interaction data: Retained indefinitely (i.e. as long as you have an active account) or until the interaction is deleted by you.

Dates of use: Not longer than 24 months

Camera and Photo Library: The content data will be stored indefinitely (i.e. as long as you have an active account) or until the content is deleted by you. Remember that We do not upload all your photos, but you decide what content you upload and share. As mentioned above, You can grant or deny Us access to Your device's camera or photo library at any time, but if You deny Us access, You will not be able to share or view any content on Our Services. This is a fundamental part of how Heymory works.

What control do you have over your information?

Notification: In the application settings you can select and control which notifications you receive about our services.

Remove friends from memory:
To make sure you get the most out of our services, you can remove users from whom you don't want to receive content or who you want to see your content. The user will only have access if they have been invited.

Friends: You can specify that your friends can see the content you have shared. You can control this at any time by removing them from your shared space.

Delete your account: You can choose to delete your account at any time in the application settings. If you choose to delete your account, your account will deleted immediately. Please note that the data will not be deleted if Heymory has received a valid legal request requiring us to retain your data. If Your Account Is Permanently Suspended And You Choose To Delete Your Account, We Will Retain The Account Creation Data For Your Account To Prevent Permanently Suspended Users From Creating New Accounts.
